Website Verification
With Website Verification, players can verify their websites in order to display them on their public profile.
Instructions
Generate Token
In Developer Settings (under the Settings menu), click "Generate verification token" to generate your verification token. You can only do so if your profile visibility is set to public. After doing so, an input field for the website URL and a DNS record value appear.
Create DNS Record
Create a DNS record in your website's control panel. Ensure it's type is set to TXT. Enter the given DNS token, starting with NM-GAMES=, as it's value and save it.
Confirm Verification
Once the DNS record is saved, click "Verify" in the bottom row to look for the DNS record. If no website URL is entered or no correctly created DNS record is found, the first row gets marked red. If that doesn't happen, and the "Verified URL" row appears, the website has been successfully verified.
Abilities
When your website is verified, it becomes visible on your profile.
