Chat
Chat is a simple way to reach N&M Games admins and other players. It can be accessed from profile pages.
History
This feature was formerly known as Admin Chat, which was only meant for bug reports, suggestions and questions and only worked between non-admins and admins. Due to minimal usage, it was removed on March 1, 2023, but got re-added on April 2, 2023. Since then, all gamers can chat with each other.
Read Messages
Both players can see whether a message is read. The send timestamp is lightgreen on read messages, gray on unread messages.
Unread Messages
When a message is not read yet, a tooltip appears on the profile page and a notification pops up in the player's activity feed. The pop-ups remain visible until the messages have been read.
Privacy
In order to protect players from unwanted messaging, they can determine who can reach them in their account settings: admins only, only those who they follow, or everyone.
