Mail

Mails are sent to the given email address on a player's account.

Addresses

Currently, N&M Games owns two mail addresses:

• info@nm-games.eu
• noreply@nm-games.eu

The first address can be used to contact admins, however using Discord is preferred.
The second mail address is used to send all below mentioned types of emails, this address has no mail inbox and mails sent to this address cannot be seen by anyone.

Types

Newsletters

N&M Games newsletters are always sent by email. However, this can be disabled in the player's account menu.

Activation links

When an account is made or the account's email address has been changed, a mail with an activation link is sent to the player's given email address. When clicking on the link, the validation is complete and the player can start playing.

Reset links

Reset links are similar to activation links, but these are sent when a password reset is requested.

Two-Factor Authentication Codes

When the Two-Factor Authentication option is set to "With Email", players receive a 6-digit code in their mail inbox. This code needs to be entered on the website before the signin is finished.

Ban Appeal Status

When a player is banned, sent an appeal, and it has been reviewed, the player receives the determination of an admin by mail.

Confidentiality

Despite the fact that there are no fake N&M Games emails going around yet, it is good to know when N&M Games emails are confidential.
Confidential N&M Games emails are sent from mail addresses which end on @nm-games.eu. If an email does not, it is a fake.
