Ban
A ban is the most common consequence for violating the terms of use.
Receiving
A ban can be received by performing something that conflicts with the terms of use.
Uploading an illegal file type may result in a 5 day ban.
Uploading an animated image results in a 2 day ban.
Uploading the admin's banner results in a 3 day ban.
N&M Games admins can also set bans manually. When they do, they set a custom duration for the ban.
Consequences
When a player is banned, they cannot visit regular N&M Games menus and also cannot play games or create stories or posts. As of March 1 2023, the sign out page is no longer blocked anymore.
Appeal
Players reserve the right to submit an appeal after being banned.
In this appeal, players have to apologize for their actions and tell what they
are going to do to prevent repetition. When an appeal is sent, an N&M Games admin
reviews it and determines whether the ban stays or gets removed. When this decision
is made, the player receives a mail about the determination.
After multiple declines, admins can revoke a player's ability to submit appeals.
As of November 13, 2021, an additional admin message is sent when the appeal is declined.
